Why our biryani tastes like Lahore

Most biryani in a hurry is rice and chicken cooked apart and mixed at the end. Ours isn't. At Anarkali we cook the Lahori way — low, slow and patient in the daig, the same big-bellied pot you'd find steaming away in the old bazaars of Lahore. The basmati drinks in the masala, the chicken stays tender, and the whole pot develops that khushboo you can't fake.

Layered with crisp fried onions, finished with our own spice blend, and served hot with raita. That's it. No shortcuts.

Pair it with a salty lassi (AED 8) or finish with gulab jamun (AED 6) — see the full menu for everything else coming out of the kitchen.

Biryani questions, answered

How much is chicken biryani at Anarkali?

Small AED 15, Medium AED 25, Large AED 45. The large comfortably feeds 2–3 people.

Is it halal?

Yes — everything we cook is 100% halal, fresh daily.

Do you deliver in Ajman?

Yes. Order online, find us on Talabat, or WhatsApp +971 54 735 2715. Dine-in and takeaway at Al Muwaihat too.

What makes Lahori biryani different?

Daig cooking — low and slow in the traditional pot so the rice absorbs the masala instead of just being coated in it. Bold spice, real depth.

When can I get it?

Open daily, breakfast till late night. Biryani is made fresh every day — come early for the first daig.

Also from the stalls

Biryani is just one stall in the bazaar — the daig also turns out beef nihari (AED 20/36), chicken karahi (AED 35/70) and haleem, while the coals handle the Mix BBQ Platter (AED 45).
